MicroPitch - A Fine-Resolution Pitch Shifter for iPhone

MicroPitch is a music and radio application developed by Eventide Inc. It is a fine-resolution pitch shifter that allows users to mix detuned and delayed versions of a signal, creating depth and dimensions not possible before. The application is available as an Audio Units AUv3 plug-in, Inter-App Audio, and Standalone App on the iPhone.

The MicroPitch plug-in is an excellent tool for subtle tone fattening and interesting slap back effects. With two voices of pitch shifting, one from unison to -50 cents, the other from unison to +50 cents, each with up to 2 seconds of delay, users can create classic stereo-spreading effects and slapback effects using longer delay times. Additionally, the Mod Depth and Rate provide a chorusing effect on each voice, while the Feedback can be used to perform pitch dive or rise effects. MicroPitch is incredibly easy to use with included presets and an innovative Ribbon that allows for changing any combination of parameters simultaneously. Mix Lock also allows for scrolling through presets while keeping the wet-dry mix constant.
